Or maybe you didn’t learn those big emotions were okay for you to feel or handle.What if conflict avoidance is a protective mechanism for helping us avoid bringing up past traumas and negative emotions.As scary as it may sound, you are capable of handling conflict in a healthy way. Having a dialogue of open communication with your partner is key.When you’re allowed to share that you’re scared.
