How to Start the New Year

Happy 2019! What brings you to this article? Are you looking for motivation or inspiration? Well I do hope you find it here and carry it with you when you’re done reading this (and then some). I’ll start off by encouraging you to DO something when you finish this.
Bruce Lee once said, “If you spend too much time thinking about a thing, you’ll never get it done. Make at least one definite move daily toward your goal.”
Don’t know what to do first or even what the goal is? Just DO something anyway. Start writing out what you want to happen. The simple act of writing in itself is DOING something. From there you may gain some clarity and list some goals you can start. No step is too small.
“No, Mike. I’m not gonna even try because I know I’ll fail.”
Well, so what? Fail. Then do it again. There are tons of great quotes on failure you can find online but they all come down to the same: in order to find success in anything it takes a lot of failure first. The greatest minds in history know much more about failure than we do. Why not be more like them?
